Local Threshers Reunion winner and town notes mixed

Percy Dodwell won the Sheaf Tying contest at the Threshers Reunion amid 10 or 11 competitors. A Winnipeg trucker hauled six steers, some 2200 pounds each, overweight at the Government Scale. The community heard news of a funeral for Mrs Flora Ella McKay in Minnedosa with services led by Rev. J. L. Fargey and burial in MacGregor. Local curling plans, Halloween eve, and a joking remark about Camlow Motors’ Pusher nickname conclude the items.
