A sale of 53 head of horses cattle and implements is planned for MacGregor tomorrow Friday with W G Henry as auctioneer. The notice also mentions local social events church services and visits by residents across the region including the Small family from Portage la Prairie and a Temple Lodge social evening.
Mr Robt Small announces cancellation of the farm stock sale advertised for October 19. The notice provides no further details about rescheduling or reasons.
Mr and Mrs J L P Sanders and daughter Bona of Killarney visited Mr and Mrs W S McGill over the weekend. The death occurred at St Boniface hospital on Wednesday of Charles Terry baker formerly of MacGregor at age 71. Funeral this afternoon at 330 from the United Church to MacGregor cemetery.
A Thank offering meeting is set for Monday October 18 at the United Church under the auspices of the WMS Mission Band and Young People's Society. Guest speaker will be Mr Buchanan a returned missionary. All are cordially invited.
