Armistice Day Observed Across Canada Notices and Local Happenings
Armistice Day is observed on Monday November 7th across Canada. Local items report a trip to Stony Mountain, visits by Miss Marjorie Jefferson, and social events at the Katrime W.A. and United Church dinners and concerts. Auction sales, cattle shipments, and shifting farming interests are noted along with plans for a possible skating rink and community recreation. Death in Winnipeg prompts condolences to Mrs. Douglas and family as MacGregor residents reflect on local events and church activities.
