Chautauqua Concerts Draw Big Afternoon and Night Crowds
A large afternoon audience and a packed evening hall greeted the Community Chautauqua in the Masonic Hall last Thursday. Miss Lillian Butt Miss Maud Buschlen and Mr Lorne Daly opened with a musical prelude and Judge Fred G Bale spoke on The Fourth Line of Defense. The evening program featured the three artists again and J udge Bale delivered The Fiddler and the Fire, praising better training of the young and sharing Juvenile Court experiences.

Erickson Hanna Wedding in Saskatoon Church Manse
The wedding of Letitia May Hanna and Louis Erickson occurred Sept 27 at 8 pm in the Knox United Church Manse Saskatoon with Rev James McKenzie officiating. The bride wore Madeline blue lace and georgette, pearls, and carried Jacque mont roses. The matron of honor was Mrs Albert Stewart. The groom’s gift to the bride was a black wardrobe case and to the matron a russet leather bag. The couple plans to reside in Pre Ste Marie.
