A large crowd attended a miscellaneous shower in Rossendale Hall Friday evening honoring Donna Landers, bride to be in October. Guests pinned a corsage, sang for her, and gifts were displayed in a wagon. Signs of friendship and best wishes followed with a light luncheon served.
Mr and Mrs Clarence Morden and Carrie of Austin joined Sunday supper with Mr and Mrs Dave Doerfler. Harry Wiebe marked his 65th birthday with family. Eleanor Orton of Rossendale visited Glenda and Tammy Allanson. Mr and Mrs Ray MacDonald celebrated an anniversary by visiting Dauphin and staying with friends Mr and Mrs Martin Beer. The MacDonald children stayed with Mrs Radford of Southend. Abe Wiebe family and Pete Reimer of MacGregor attended Doreen’s cousin Jack Wiebe’s funeral in Winkler. Rosehill 4H Seed Club held a wiener roast at Bob McLennan’s. John Martens attended the 25th anniversary for Mr and Mrs Henry Schultz. Anniversary wishes to Mr and Mrs George Shapansky on Oct 12. Mrs Klassen ill in MacGregor hospital.
