Another MacGregor old-timer dead
Mr. John Peffers, an early MacGregor settler, died at Portage hospital on September 29 at age sixty-two. He came to the district in 1899 from Galt Ontario after time in Carberry. He farmed and raised stock and is survived by sons John of Midland Ontario and Ed of Swan River. The funeral was at Union Church with H. R. Ross officiating and interment in MacGregor cemetery beside his wife who died in 1915.
