The Sidney United Church Ladies Aid will hold their annual supper and concert on Tuesday October 8th at the church. Proceeds support community programs and church activities. Tickets available at the church office and from group members.
Mr S E Burch led the church service with Mrs Gordon Dalzell visiting Winnipeg relatives. Arthur Smallpiece and wife attended from Portage Plains for the Tuesday fowl supper which was successful though attendance was down. The event featured a fine program and an address by Dr Dickson on Rose Glasses with Rev McLeod serving as chairman.

Weddings in Gladstone, George Cooper returns home, and a well attended annual fowl dinner and concert at the Katrime Community Hall raises about 95 dollars with a program featuring pupils, solos, a scotch dance and a missionary talk.
