MacGregor 4-H Calf Club Reorganizes and Plans Christmas Event
The MacGregor 4-H Calf Club held its re organization meeting at Southend school on October 26 with Beth McDougald presiding. Arthur Scora was elected president and Larry Lee vice president with Glen Leckie as reporter. Seven members attended and lunch was served by Mrs C Lee and Mrs L McDougald. A second meeting occurred November 23 at C Lee’s home with all members and one visitor. Mr McDougald will lead the coming year with Cliff Lee and Mrs McDougald as assistants. The club will join MacGregor Clothing Club for a Christmas event in December with a turkey raffle drawings to be held at the party. Larry Lee and Garry Leckie will give speeches at the January meeting. Lunch was served by Mrs Scora and Mrs Leckie. Glen Leckie, reporter.

CGIT Leaders Attend Rally in Gladstone
Austin CGIT leaders Mrs. D Sly and Mrs. K Jedel accompanied by senior daughters Judy Compton Helen Stephenson and Pat Trowsky attended a CGIT rally for readers and senior girls in Gladstone on Saturday November 24. The Austin CGIT collected 20 for UNICEF on Halloween. Mr and Mrs H F Johnson with Mrs Jones and Mrs Wallace attended the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs Milton Mathews of Portage on Saturday. The December evening worship at Austin United Church will begin at 7 15 with special o id time.
