Social activities include a whist drive and dance at Brook School on December 6th, a Van couver winter visit for Mr and Mrs Wallace, poultry car in Austin, and a Ronald Duff operation followed by a dance at Austin Community Hall with a six piece orchestra, lunch, 50 cent admission to raise Tennis Club funds.
Honorable Charles A. Dunning was sworn in this week as minister of finance, succeeding the late J A Robb in the Dominion Government. The appointment marks a continuation of fiscal leadership following Robb's death.
Edrans Rev G H Hambley will conduct services on Dec 1 at Edrans field. Anglican concert Nov 22 had good sound despite storm and bad roads. Mrs. S McLachlan Miss M Dunn and Miss J Gowanlock spent the weekend in Winnipeg. News arrives of W J Davis and J Arnold arriving in Calgary by motor. About one hundred enjoyed Monday night’s hall dance honoring the nuptials of Mr and Mrs Jasper Radclyffe. The W M held its annual meeting on November 21 with officers elected led by President Mrs B G Crealock. Next meeting to be at Mrs R E Walden’s home on December 12.
