Wedding Ties Tone to Bagot Church in October Celebration
The St Stephen United church Bagot hosted a pretty wedding on Saturday October 7 at 6 p.m. Louise Tone daughter of D Landers Bagot Man and Daniel Stuart son of J Rintoul Bagot fan united in marriage with Rev Earl Armistead officiating. The bride wore a floor length silk organza gown with lace and sequin boat neckline, veil, jewelry from the groom, and carried a cascade bouquet. Attendants included Donna Landers and Betty Tarr. ushers El don Rintoul and Mervin Dahl. A reception for 100 guests followed at Rosen dale Hall with a three tier cake and tulle decorations. The couple will reside at Extra Man after a short honeymoon.

The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair announced fourteen names for Canada's new agricultural hall of fame. Portraits will be unveiled Sunday at the fair. Included are Fraser Valley dairy farmer Alex Mercer and Winnipeg race horse breeder Robert Speers. Other inductees include Joseph Brethour Duncan Bull William Corning John Dryden Alexander Mercer Peter McArthur and Peter McArthur.
