North Norfolk Council Holds Busy Session
North Norfolk Municipal Council met in MacGregor on Nov 6 with full attendance. G. E. Lewin was named representative on Hospital Unit 14. Old Age Pension was approved. Bagot hydro request considered. street lighting endorsed for Bagot and Beaver Federation. By laws included property conveyances and purchases, drainage talks with Portage la Prairie Westbourne, and various land sales. Financial actions covered loans, weed control pay, dog-kill reimbursements, and aid to the Children’s Aid Society. Council approved three Austin street lights and set pay for joint council meetings. Meeting adjourned to Dec 13 in MacGregor.
