It notes a house two stables and a granary with water from a well and creek, 145 cultivated acres, fencing with three strands, proximity to Beaver and MacGregor stations, and school access. The Masquerade Ball held in Foresters Hall on Oct list drew a large crowd with many fine costumes. Prizes were awarded in multiple categories including Ladies Fancy Miss F M Jones and Gents Fancy Melvin Thompson. Other notable costumes included Anne McKillop Assyrian Woman Vivian Smith Aunt Jemima Ronald Dudl John Bull and Eileen Kenway Turkish Lady. Judging by Miss Madill Mrs Gee and others was thorough and educated.

Harvest Thanksgiving service drew large congregation with joint village church effort and a children’s choir led by Miss M L Foxall.
