Local tribunal opens at Masonic hall and notices

The local Tribunal opened its sittings at the Masonic hall today. Mrs C E Stewart visited Winnipeg on Friday to see her daughter Mrs FE Rathbone. Miss Sherritt is recovering from pneumonia. Snow is gone and farmers plow again. Billy Glover predicted much. Robi Glover and Gerald Huber went to Winnipeg for Canadian Navy examination. Mrs Fred Lawrence returned from Winnipeg after medical treatment. Mrs H Gilroy and Mrs Roger Bell have recovered enough to get around. Mrs Colin Campbell will visit the local Chapter. Harry Lye, wounded at Vimy, is now well and in Royal Naval Aviation Corps. Mr and Mrs Alex Hay moved into town. O A S C Halloween show drew a crowd. proceeds $57. Mrs George Rogers learned of a Winnipeg message about General in France wounded shoulder. Ottawa orders rifles returned. Reserve Militi rifles to be returned. Lt Geo Cooper of Beaver learned his son Stanley Cooper is in Kitchener hospital Brighton England with a gunshot wound to the knee. Education is fostering the student’s knowledge. Henry Jansen aims to discover pupils tastes to aid cultivation. Fred Byers sale drew good prices for cattle and horses. Auctioneer Street led the sale.
