North Norfolk notices from MacGregor area preview events

The North Norfolk Council meets in MacGregor on November 12 and the annual tax sale is set for December 10. Beaver skating rink whist drive and dance is planned for Friday the 13th in Orange Hall, Beaver. Local residents report community activities and deliveries to aid western Canada.

Remembrance Day Service Plans Detailed

A representation from the Canadian Legion LODE and School Board met at Mrs J F MacKinnon s home to arrange a Remembrance Day service on November 9th. School children assemble at 10 30 am and Legion members at 10 40 am to march to the monument for the service. The program includes Last Post Hymn 312 Scripture reading In Flanders Fields prayers and addresses by KH Fotheringham and Win Mowat.
