Austin News Highlights From Winnipeg Visit To Local Auctions

Mrs. John Hay visited Winnipeg last week as Austin activity centers on a farm stock sale for John Whiting. Municipal nominations for Wards 3, 5 and 6 set for November 10 in Austin, with various church notices and a death of Alfred Bush at 70. Community Hall work includes a planned picture show and Market Day proceeds report.

Ingram Passes Away at Edrans

Albert Ingram a respected former merchant of Edrans died October 23 at 56 after a career spanning Manitoba Saskatchewan and Ontario He lived in Winnipeg Bienfait Roche Perce and Brandon before returning to Edrans He was organist at St Mary's Church and active in the Independent Order of Foresters and Orange Order Survived by his widow Lillian Seaman and daughter Audrey Funeral from St Mary's to Edrans cemetery was conducted by Rev I McKinney.
