North Norfolk Legioners hold third annual dinner in Westbourne
Members of the Canadian Legion and guests from Gladstone Portage la Prairie gathered at Westbourne Community Hall on Friday October 27 for the North Norfolk and District Branch third annual dinner. About one hundred attended the evening featuring toasts to The King The Ladies and The Armed Forces of the British Empire. Comrade C F Kitson chaired the event with remarks by Reeve Thos McCartney and Lt. H A Lye among others. Comrade R B Wimsett and Sergt Keith Stewart spoke, two Sam Small monologues were delivered, and a short dance was provided by a local band.
