Anglo Anglican Church Annual Meeting at Kaifime
The annual meeting of the Anglican Church at Kaifime on May 27 reports heavy snowfall caused few services. Services resume Sundays on June 3 and 4 and every fortnight. Vestry members from last year retained with Mr. G. Grove added. Mr. J. Heselwood reelected Peoples’ Warden. Mr. A. Heselwood Secretary-Treasurer. Rev. Father Patrick will appoint his own warden.

Good Neighbors Club Reviews Year's Work
The Good Neighbors Club annual meeting was held on Wednesday May 23 at the Hall with sixteen members present. Treasurer Mrs E Duncan reported finances while the group noted twenty members for the year and donations to The Children's Aid Society The March of Dimes and other gifts. Officiating officers were thanked and new officers for 1956 named: President Mrs L Smith Vice President Mrs H Duncan Secretary Mrs A Grove. Reporters were named from The Age and The Herald.

Community group refines fundraiser committee and plans showers
The Fruit and Flowers Fund gains two pew members Mrs J Clarke and Mrs Harvey Gilbert to lead the project. A committee will contact the Gladstone Male Voice Choir for a potential Katrime concert. The next meeting is set for the third Wednesday in June to gather ideas and suggestions for showers. Hostesses for the afternoon are Mrs Briscoe Mrs J Meftse V and Mrs H Dupean.
