Jim Turner of the R C N V R Winnipeg visited over the week end with his folks. Mr and Mrs Thomas Kivelhan Glenella visited at the Glover home over the holiday week end. Mrs C Mendham St James returned home after a week with Mrs J A McCarl and Mrs A Little. Engagement announced Marjorie Laurens to Trooper Roy Snaith wedding in June.

Weekend Visits and Tea Event at Portage Community

Miss J Blair and Miss Marjorie McGowan visited Portage and Muir respectively while AC.1 Norman Birkett prepared for Vancouver. Regina and Fort William guests joined the McLachlan home crowd and a Winnipeg family stayed with the Cobbers. A Brandon trip gathered local families to see AC.1 Harvey Gilbert and Pte. Walter Lake. The Women's Auxiliary held a successful May tea raising 52 dollars with thanks to contributors and the Red Cross.
