Bear attack ends fatal for cook at Kad Door Lumbar camp
In Dauphin County on a Sunday afternoon John May the cook at camp No. 4 at I pratokio from the Daermaacroas a Diack bear. May was fatally struck during a camp pursuit as he confronted the animal near the cook shack. The bear, described as emaciated, had previously injured May who was killed instantly. The incident concludes with the bear wounded and believed to have fled the scene.
