Red Cross Drive Plans Canvass North Norfolk Area
In connection with the Red Cross Society drive funds, a meeting of the 1.C.C.E. lad at A J P MacKinnon Fund home arranged canvassing for the east half of North Norfolk to Bagot road. Canvassers were named for MacGregor and contributions may be left at Bank of Montreal with T B Jolliffe acting as treasurer. North Norfolk Council recently donated $1,000.00 to the Red Cross drive and neighboring municipalities in Manitoba also voted generous amounts, Gilbert Plains $180.00 and Village Council $600.00.

Churches unite for May 17 services in MacGregor area
The United Churches in MacGregor Bagot Beaver and MacGregor hold May 17 services led by Rev Cecil A J Ring of McCreary. Sunday School at 11 am and evening prayer at 7 pm in MacGregor with additional services at Bagot and Beaver, followed by an Official Board meeting after the evening service.
