Village to Host Central Judicial District Meeting
The Central Judicial district meeting will be held in MacGregor on Friday, June 23 with the Village of MacGregor and the Rural Municipality of North Norfolk acting jointly as host municipalities. Entomologists warn farmers across Pembina Triangle and Red River Valley to prepare insecticide supplies for potential grasshopper infestations and follow strict residue rules for dairy and beef cattle. Malathion is the recommended pasture insecticide due to its short residual effect, with a seven day grazing wait, while aldrin ayelin nepraenor and toxaphene may be used on grain crops but not on vegetation for livestock.
