North Norfolk Council Minutes Report War Prep and Local Projects
The North Norfolk Council met in Austin on Friday May 5 with all members present led by Reeve S C Duff. Actions include paying Mrs E J Manns $1000 monthly for James Rowan care, Red Cross epidemic preparations, pledging food support to Red Cross Centres, surveying postwar rural electrification, and approving purchase and lease offers for machinery and road work. The council also seeks the adoption of the 1945 assessment roll and changes to the 1944 changes in ownership.
