Choral Service marks 17th annual United Church Choir event
The United Church Choir presented the seventeenth annual choral service last Sunday under Mrs Woortin with twenty selections. Mrs A Stinson, Mrs J Taylor, Mrs G C Fotheringham, Muriel Collis and Lillian Fox provided organ and solo work while male soloists F Venn W Cooper and J Wood performed. A large gathering applauded and contributed generously for next year’s choir expenses, and the choir gifted Mr and Mrs J Woodin a floral tribute for their fortieth wedding anniversary. A separate notice seeks a warm comfortable MacGregor home with electricity and board, via Mrs S B Barber at Mrs Booth’s.
