Obituary of Mr Wye MacGregor’s respected farmer
The obituary notes the death of Mr. Young, born in Cleveland US in 1873, who emigrated to Canada in 1889 and settled in MacGregor. A prominent grain grower and stock keeper, he served as director of the MacGregor Agricultural Society and was active in sports and curling. Survived by widow, two daughters Leah and Laura, and brothers in Canada. Funeral held with large attendance, including the local COF lodge members. Floral tributes and a COF ceremony completed the service at St Paul’s Church.

Well Known Presbyterian Clergyman Dead
A respected Presbyterian clergyman died May 5 after a long illness. He served in Portage la Prairie and at Selkirk and Burnside, taught and preached, and held leadership in the church. He leaves three sons including Farquhar studying law in Portage la Prairie and McGillivray at home.

The Manitoba Trustees Act notice calls all claimants to the estate of Adam Lamb late of North Norfolk and Robert E. Lath to present their claims in writing by June 1913. Executors Young and Mackinnon warn that after June 10, 1918 they will administer the estate and distribute to those entitled, with any claims to be received by the executors at their Ontario addresses.
