Norfolk Member On Wheat Board Debate Reported

John Muirhead, member for Norfolk, spoke in the Wheat Board debate arguing the current system favors middlemen. He urged a national selling agency to move wheat from producer to consumer, ensuring equal opportunity and an average price for every farmer in the province. He warned against abandoning the measure after three years of effort and noted Manitoba’s advantage among provinces.
