No Flooding On Assiniboine This Spring
The Manitoba flood forecasting committee reported no flooding along the Red and Assiniboine rivers this year. Winnipeg river stages will stay at least five feet below flood level. Assiniboine spring peaks confined to channels and below dike tops at Brandon and Portage la Prairie. No further forecasts unless the situation changes.
