The North Norfolk Manitoba Board of Trade reconvened at Municipal hall after an inactive spell to push regional progress. It endorsed gravelling the Trans-Canada Highway through MacGregor, urged government action, and tasked two members to present a petition. a rink project and settlement expansion were also discussed.
The I MecGregor Curling Club held its annual meeting with a fair attendance. President J. M. McPhee chaired the session. The secretary's papers showed the club enjoyed a very successful year.
The meeting re elected officers led by President J M McPhee and discussed building a curling and skating rink before next winter. Members noted such a rink would benefit Treherne and nearby communities and cited recent rink projects in Carberry Medora Teal Grand View Glenboro as evidence of feasibility.
