D A MacDonald heads to Winnipeg after wintering in town. Inspector Dunlop visits MacGregor schools this week. Cards and theatre events highlight the week with curling, golf meetings, auctions, dances, and lectures. Local church, Red Cross, and Ladies groups plan fundraisers and notices urge renewals.
The Union Church at MacGregor lists Sabbath School at 11 a.m. on Sundays and Evening Services at 7 p.m. A prayer meeting is set for Wednesday at 7 and choir practice on Thursday at 8 p.m.
The Anglican St Pauls hosts Sunday School on March 22 titled Journey of the Soul and a Bible Class. A Lent Service with address Men who penfy Christ on Pilate is set for March 10 at 8. Tonight March 19 at 8 features a Judas subject with a Euphonium solo by Mr G E Lewin. All welcome for bright hymns.
