Local notes report the North Norfolk Council meets in Austin tomorrow Friday March 3 with events at Temple Lodge AF & A.M. and a Second degree. Ongoing community activities include a lodge meeting, Palm Sunday plans, a church branch for Girls Auxiliary, and a fundraising bazaar.
A meeting of theUF is to be held at MacTier Masonic Hall on Thursday March 24 at 8 o clock. Albert McGregor from Hoves will give an address on the principles of nation and Dr Waugh will also speak. Invitations extend to attend.
The G W V A held its annual meeting appointing a presidium and treasurer and naming officers for a social and ports committee. Members discussed opening a fort and inviting veterans to join, with meetings scheduled on the second and fourth Thursdays each month.
