Glover Home Destroyed By Fire
Last Friday March 9 a two storey brick residence owned by Mr W H Glover was destroyed by a blaze discovered around 10 15 am. Firemen volunteers and neighbors could not save the building though some first floor furniture was saved. The back furnace area is suspected as the fire origin. The Glover family lost much of their clothing and personal effects with insurance on the building only. The family now resides in Mrs W McElvery’s former home. Neighbors and local groups collected furniture bedding and essentials for the family and praised the community spirit.
