Manitoba highway improvements planned for 1944
In the Manitoba Legislature an easing of war priorities will permit more highway expenditures. An added 50 000 will fund dangerous curve and bridge fixes and floodwashed sections on routes including the Trans Canada between Melbourne and Carberry and No 10 West of Dauphin. An 80 000 tranche funds maintenance on non trunk routes like Oak Point Piney Morden Sprague and The Pas highways.
