Bev Uhrin was crowned Queen of the Austin Carnival held last weekend with Cathy Thiessen officiating. Roy Snaith presented the trophy, and Barb McCullum of Melita won the accompanying Queen contest. The event featured gifts for four young skaters and door prizes for Betty Williams and Karen Hann as crowds enjoyed hockey, skits, and a lively evening show.
