MacGregor hosts July events and meetings as Chautauqua opens July 15 and runs to July 18. Local society tracks Dominion Day closures, church services, school reviews, and a big Beaver district fair slated July 11-12 with plans for a July 3 stock shipment and a Katrimey market draw.
The MacGregor team traveled to Sidney on Monday and lost as Sidney won 3 to 2. The readable score line shows Sidney with a 3 2 victory over MacGregor in an away game.
About twenty five took part in the Tennis tournament held Saturday under the MacGregor Club. Winners include Mens Doubles Swan L, Ladies Doubles Mrs Bowie and Mrs Sweet, Mixed Doubles Dr Swan and Mrs Bolton, Mens Singles J Duncan, Ladies Singles Mrs Bolton, J Kay and Dri.
