Priceless Penny Shakespeare Stamp Found by Collector

Charles A. Davis of Dorchester Massachusetts discovered a nearly priceless penny Shakespeare charity stamp among a 19th century lot he bought a decade ago for a small sum. The local British stamp, issued by National Criers Co between 1873 and 1875, bears the Bard of Avon and is the only known copy in America. Davis paid $25 for the large stock containing the stamps.
