The Manitoba Provincial Exhibition at Brandon is described as vital to agriculture and home life. Citizens are urged to support the fair from June 29 to July 3 so it remains strong after war and ready to contribute to the province’s recovery.
The Grandstand show, nightly in Brandon, features high pay, new lighting and costumes with thrills by the Pyramid Girls and Victorias bicycle act among other acts. Advance four-ticket admissions pass at $1, closes Saturday June 27, with new $0.50 gate price afterward. Ticket returns by the 27th may win prizes of $10, $5, or $2.50.
