The wedding is set for the United Church Austin on Saturday July 10 1943.

Missing RCAF air gunner Bud Seaman reported overseas
Sgt William Thomas Bud Seaman elder son of Mr and Mrs W T Seaman of Edrans is missing after air operations overseas. Born August 22 1921 he joined the RCAF in Winnipeg November 19 1941 trained at Brandon Saskatoon and Macdonald and graduated January 22 1943. He went overseas last March attached to an RAF bombing crew. His brother Gordon is training with the RCAF in Brandon.

A June 16 gathering at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Skeet welcomed about thirty friends who offered best wishes for the couple’s marriage. Mrs. J Seaman read an address signed by thirty, while Herbert Sparrow gave an end table and embroidered pillowslips. The Skeets thanked guests as a social hour and lunch followed.
