The Local Summer Fair agencies unite to showcase Manitoba agriculture at MacGregor. July 14 features a parade of decorated autos, a baseball game, Salvation Army Band music, and a Free Red Cross Baby Clinic with a Winnipeg specialist for residents to use.
Mrs. F. McLachlan and Miss Connie Barber spent the weekend at Wellwood with friends. Mr A M Stapleton returned to Prince Albert after visiting Mr and Mrs Walter Gowan. A pic nic at R O McKelvy s grove is planned Friday with baseball and football attractions. Katrime merchants installed a new bowser pump and a five tube White Stone radio. Sunday School at Katrime on June 27 invites all to hear Mr J McKelvy speak on Predestination.
Daily events mark Brandon Exhibition with a different theme each day from Monday’s Children’s Day to Tourist’s Day Friday. Coldstream Guards Band to perform twice daily and a daylight fireworks program will delight children with animal figures. An Indian Sports program is set for Monday afternoon. Agents sought for nail pictures advertised in the same notice.

Tenders will be received at the Rural Municipality of Westbourne Gladstone office until July 6 1926 for clearing draining and grading highways north of 17-13-10 and 18-13-10 two miles total about 5 000 C W. Tenders may be submitted per mile. Specifications and forms available at Gladstone Winnipeg or Portage la Prairie offices. Each tender to include 5 percent earnest money. The lowest tender will be accepted where eligible.
Sealed tenders are due by noon July 6 1926 for constructing pile bridges of various spans including 26ft and 24ft at several locations. Municipality supplies all material.
