Moth Butterflies Captivate MacGregor Residents
Over the weekend, many beautifully colored moth butterflies drew attention in MacGregor. Three boys from the Macaulay district brought one to the office on Saturday night. The specimen had a six inch wingspread and a body a little over two inches long, thicker than a pencil. It appeared dull black with white trims and hues of green blue and other colors. Many moths were captured by youths and oddly they did not fly during daylight.
