Next week is Red Cross week in Manitoba with drives June 17 and a community tea on June 22 to support the cause. A Plowing Match is set for June 18 at A Kilfoyle’s farm west of Macgregor with five classes and prizes. Also a Masonic hall concert June 21 in MacGregor and various local visits and travels noted.
Teachers and pupils must hand in their exhibits to Secretary F. E. Lewin by Saturday June 13. Baking items may be brought on the morning of the exhibit. This is the one day of the year for the children and the parents should attend. Grounds at the Fair Grounds MacGregor open June 21 with free admission for children and 25 cents for adults. A band will be present.
The Dey Divi and supplies of cetti j urge residents sixteen and older to register before June 22. Polling stations listed as MacGregor School Macaulay School Southend School and Clairmont School. Deputy Registrar A J Struthers announces locations and hours as June 7.

A large crowd attended a patriotic sale in the Macs Gregor district raising about $1,000. The event featured eggs, hive stock, produce, a horse, a Shetland pony, pigs, roosters, chicks, and a litter of five puppies, with items repeatedly bid up. The committee thanks the generous community for their hearty response and support.
