Local Austin Notes and Social Items
Weekend visits and arrivals mark Austin life with a series of social notes. Jean Avery stayed with her parents while Alister Hubble began as Junior at the Bank of Montreal branch. Several families, church members, and lodge affiliates are mentioned along with graduations and upcoming events. The Great Carlton Women's Auxiliary holds a June 18 silver tea and sale at Mrs G H North, and a Pine Creek Church picnic is planned for June 20 with races and a lunch booth.
