An Open House for ladies is planned at Macdonald Airport on June 16 with a tour of the Camp. Transportation from Portage la Prairie will be arranged. Interested individuals should notify Mrs. J R McNeely before Tuesday noon June 15.
Beaver residents report visitors from Portage la Prairie and Katrime. A Baby Band Silver Tea is set for Tuesday June 15 at Mrs Maurice Smith home. A Clean-up Bee will occur at Beaver cemetery Monday afternoon June 14 to recover missing lawn mowers. The 53rd Anniversary of the WMS was held with Mrs Bartha chairing and Mrs Kelly reading devotions. Mrs Green was honored with a gold membership pin as she retires from the WMS.
