Decoration Day Services Observed at Local Cemeteries
Decoration Day will be held Sunday June 20 with a service at the MacGregor monument site at 1 30 PM followed by processions to the MacGregor Beaver and Katrime cemeteries. Canadian Legion members will assemble at the Fair Grounds at 1 PM. Printed programmes will be available next week.

Picture show opens in MacGregor with Wynant Amusements
Wynant Amusements Limited of Winnipeg presented "The Most Precious Thing in Life" at Orange Hall to a full house. Operator says improvements in sound and production are planned and a matinee will be added each Saturday afternoon with two evening shows, addressing a long felt local need.

Revival of Girls Basketball and Boys Baseball At Portage
A MacGregor based girls team led by Miss Somerville has played two home and home games with Portage la Prairie Collegiate girls, both won by Portage. Local boys have begun regular baseball practice after years of dormancy, hoped to continue. Dr. McLoughry will visit Carberry each Wednesday for medical practice.
