Saskatchewan to launch flag despite College of Arms hold

Public Works Minister Allan Guy said Saskatchewan will press ahead with its new flag design after the College of Arms in London withheld approval. The green and yellow flag features the prairie lily near the staff and the provincial coat of arms within green, with a small white border added around the arms. The designer, Anthony Drake of Hodgeville, saw results from a 4,000-entry contest.
