Art Hartwell associate deputy minister of the natural resources department said a quiet park program has paid off with better behavior in recreation areas. Glen Larson Moose Mountain Park reports 20 vehicles entered last weekend with no problems, compared to five on a prior holiday weekend. Checks on government vehicles occur in many parks as narcotics, impaired driving, provincial offenses, and liquor violations are monitored.
