Acupuncture Said to Recharge the Human Body
Dr E Stanton Maxey of Miami described acupuncture as a way to recharge the body's electrical system. He said the body contains 350 trillion cells acting as batteries and 1 200 skin points with lower resistance. He compared needles to antennas helping the body absorb electrical charges from the air and noted negative ions improve mood while positive ion surges like a Chinook wind can cause crankiness.

College Education For Truck Drivers in Nova Scotia
The Commercial Safety College on a 62 acre site 12 miles west of Truro Nova Scotia graduates about 120 drivers a month for straight and tractor trailer trucks. It is Canada’s largest safety college with 35 staff and 52 training vehicles and a three acre practice field. Despite 1 000 annual graduates demand remains for 1 400 new drivers yearly. Basil MacKay says it is not a correspondence school and driving cannot be taught by mail. Harry G March founder says the college has gained prestige through careful evaluation and training. The school attracts inquiries from Ontario and Western Canada and may expand or establish a second site outside the Atlantic region.
