A new allotment totalling 185,496,000 has been released from the Canada Pension Plan for the April to June quarter. Funds are invested in up to 20 year securities with yields tied to federal bonds. Provinces receive varying shares, led by British Columbia and Alberta, with Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, and Quebec also listed. The federal government adds 594,000 for Yukon and Northwest Territories.
