Early spring flooding boosted grain, hay is abundant yet rain showers hinder gathering, gardens are late but growing well. Potatoes remain premium as new local spuds fetch 15 cents a pound while 1955 stock is nearly exhausted. Prices are expected to ease as the new crop begins to reach markets.
