Turner Valley oil field boosts prairie petroleum savings
Industry officials report that prairie consumers will pay about 5500 for gasoline and light petroleum products in 1937, unchanged from 1935 levels, due to Turner Valley becoming a major oil producer. Coordinated expansion by producers, pipelines, railways, and refiners may raise consumption further if crops yield improves.
