Carberry Fair Set for July 15 16 with Prizes And Races
Carberry annual Summer Fair is next week on Wednesday and Thursday July 15 16 with 3500 in prizes. Thursday features harness races a 160 baseball tournament live stock judging and a big parade. Scrap Iron Drive Aids Canada's War Effort
Prairie farmers urged to deliver scrap iron to grain elevators under Dominion Government War Time Salvage Corporation. Elevators pay seven dollars per ton and handle collection and delivery at no charge. Some farmers donate proceeds to Red Cross or other war funds while supporting Allied victory.
