North Norfolk and District Agricultural Society 56th Exhibition
The 56th annual fair at MacGregor on June 30 drew nearly a thousand despite help shortages. Horses led with W R Shaw Katrine and G W Wells Katrime as top breeders. cattle numbers rose, Shorthorn wins to Ed Chant, Herefords to R Duncan, and dairy honors to Mrs Bazuk and Frank Howe. A strong poultry showing, wartime limits on sports, and a Tivoli Theatre evening preceded a large turnout at the rink dance. Prize list highlights major horse classes and farm implements with Shaw, Wells, Strain, and Moore among top winners.
